Bianka Parrag

I am Bianka Parrag, a consulting psychologist. I obtained my diploma from the University of Debrecen, after that I took a professional exam at the counseling psychologist training of ELTE specializing in crisis counseling. Over the years I obtained a degree as a relaxation and symbol therapist, and participated in integrative child therapy training, which includes the therapeutic approach that integrates methods and builds on the child’s and family’s own self-healing resources – this approach was decisive for me. In recent years I worked with children and families in kindergartens, schools and pedagogical professional services. I encountered abused, neglected and disadvantaged children frequently during my work, which led me to gain interest in the many faces of trauma, its consequences and the possibilities of processing. This road led me to a trauma-focused approach, the EMDR therapy. During my work with children and adolescence I find it very important to work together with the parents to get to know their thinking, resources because for the child’s mental balance it is crucial for their parent to provide security, frameworks and emotional regulations.
